Getting Started with AD Address Book CardDAV Server for Administrator

  1. Download the Web Deployment package and a license file from our website. The server is fully functional and does not have any limitations except the evaluation license trial period is limited to 1 month. As soon as the license expires, the server will stop working.
  2. Examine the server requirements and see how to create an ASP.NET website in IIS, install Web Deployment package on it, set license file and configure LDAP access to your domain servers. See Installation and Configuration.
  3. Discover the URL of the required address book and send it to your team members.
  4. Your team members can now connect to your CardDAV server to access address book contacts. They will use their domain credentials to login and will have permissions granted in Active Directory. In most cases you do not need to create any new logins or configure permissions. See how to connect on iOS, Android and using various e-mail clients here.
